Mr. Robert

‘There was only one woman I truly loved’, Mr. Robert said while pouring his red wine and lighting up his cigarette. Alone, at 72 is now reminiscing the years of his youth, when he was handsome and a player. A Don Juan!

He never committed to his lovers and never promised them anything. He was ‘unstable’ and lived for the moment.
But even then, there was only ONE woman he truly loved,
She, on the other hand, betrayed him and walked away.

Sitting alone in his dark living room, he is reading a letter. The sender is not that special someone but one of his former girlfriends.
His eyes however, fill with tears… but why?

Why is this man crying over a love letter that one of his MANY girlfriends sent him?

Maybe he regrets not committing to her, even though she really loved him.
Maybe he regrets for letting her go.
Maybe he regrets being impressed by temporary things that would have never last.

Is it worth it then?
Living a life full of excitement with no responsibilities and commitments or having the strength and courage to put yourself out there and create a family of your own?

Is it worth wasting your life ‘having fun’ while you could be able to ‘invest’ your time in your own children?

And while the former is an easier path to follow, the latter will be the one that will offer happiness, fulfillment, and a purpose… even towards your last hours…

Choose Wisely!
