The way people behave when letting go says a lot about their character.
For some of us, running away is a way of refuge, a way to protect ourselves from situations and people that hurt us, or even our own selves and thoughts.
An essential part of the process but not always the solution.

Being left behind is much more difficult though.
You are unable to understand why someone decides to run away and this hurts a lot!

We are so used to seeing people 'letting go' because they 'love' someone but their actions do not always match their words.
When 'letting go because you love someone' you do not go around finding ways to hurt the other person. You try to understand and take the time and space to think things over.

Running away becomes a routine until someone walks into your life and lets you go, without hurting you, without being mean, or selfish. Someone brave enough to let you go the way it should be done. With love and only love!
Who will genuinely care and want the best for you.
Who will make running away so difficult... that you decide to stay...
