'Immigration - The action of coming to live permanently in a foreign country.' (Reference: HERE)

An action carried out by thousands of people around the world, still a controversial issue in today's society.

Why do people migrate?
Some want to study, others to work, others to pursue more opportunities or to escape their not-so-good reality. All of these scenarios however, have one thing in common. 'Pursuing a better life.'

Whatever the case, here are a few ways to tackle immigration, whether you are migrating or you are a native, this applies to you both.

Rule No. 1: There are no good and bad countries. Only good and bad people.
Rule No. 2: Life is all about experiences. Be open to give, receive and build relationships.
Rule No. 3: Both sides, immigrants and natives, need to try and put an effort in getting to know, understand and accept each other.
Rule No. 4: Brake the Ice. Ask questions such as:
  1. What is your name?
  2. Where are you from?
  3. What are your hobbies? What do you enjoy to do in your free time?
And you will discover a common ground.
You will be amazed to realize that you have more similarities with each other than you originally thought. Just take a chance. It is worth it!
