Are You A Dreamer?

Are you a dreamer?

Don't you hate it when people decide to play parents and come up to you with random advice about how you should give up on your dream career and do something else with your life?
Maybe you want to be a musician, a painter, an actor, a writer? But for them you are just useless.

Don't you just hate this? Or maybe detest it?
Detest I think is a better word.

What is the point in trying to do that?
Why try to make the other person give up?
What do they expect?
Get a job (that you do not enjoy) and work for the rest of your life. Just to make some money,
create a family and work.
Is this what society really expects?

'You should put your private life first' - you will often hear them say.

What happens if you do not want to?
What if you just want to pursue your career now that you are young and able to do so?

I am sure that as a dreamer, you are more determined to achieve your goal every time they try to bring you down. You are more determined because this is what your gut feeling tells you is correct.

Let them speak. They know nothing!
