What makes a successful team?
How can managers predict and create a successful team?

An initial thought could be to notice the working styles of the team's members.
Four types of working styles means four types of mindsets:


North: 
Acting – ‘Let’s do this’ Likes to act, try things, plunge in.
East: 
Speculating – likes to look at the big picture and the possibilities before acting.
South: 
Caring – likes to know that everyone’s feelings have been taken into consideration and that their voices have been heard before acting.
West:
Paying attention to detail- likes to know the who, what, when, where and why before acting.


The moment when one working style has a weakness, another will be able to fill in and complete it. 

Of course, there are more factors that can contribute to the success of a team such as team work, discussion, cooperation, emotional intelligence... etc. but choosing wisely your team members is a step closer in building a successful team.
