Covid_19. A terrible pandemic that has frozen the whole planet. Everything has stopped, our jobs, our busy schedules, our stressful hours, the projects we need to complete, the deadlines we need to meet, the things we needed to prepare... It feels as if for once in our lives we can BREATH!
Not only us, but the environment too... Scientists have been going on and on about global warming and how it has affected the whole planet and suddenly, mother earth has yield us all on her feet.
For the past months, the pollution levels have fallen all over the globe.
Not only the environmental pollution but also our soul's pollution has decreased.
We finally have some time for ourselves.
Our anxiety is gone, our stress is diminishes, we sleep, we eat properly (well sometimes) and we can finally breath. We are all in search of a community, for people to interact with, ways to kill our loneliness... but maybe we should shift our mindsets a bit.
Maybe this is a chance for us to work on our hobbies. Maybe we can:
- Create the things we have always wanted
- Practice the instrument we didn't have time to practice before
- Study the foreign language we never got around to learn
- Experiment in the kitchen and try to cook new dishes
- Practice some creative writing
- Start the blog you have always dreamed of
or just catch up on the series you didn't have time to catch up on before.
Could this be a time of self-reflection of some sort?
Resetting our perspectives and setting our new goals and timelines?
Resetting our perspectives and setting our new goals and timelines?
No matter what you decide to do, turn off your phone and laptop and get your thinking cup on.
You will discover the plethora of things that exists that are not necessarily inside a screen!
