New Environment - New Approach

A new job is always exciting but also nerve racking. Especially when you have been hired to work on a field that you have never done so before. Your initial instinct is that you want to create, innovate and fix things that were not working before. However, your entitlement reaches a level that is no longer in your control.

Responsibility comes with duty. It is your obligation to do what is best for the company that has hired you.

What happens however when not everything is controled by you?
What happens when unexpected situations keep on appearing in your path?
What happens when you really want to fight for something but you can't?

Things are not impossible and you know that with a bit of effort a lot of things can change.
But you keep on asking yourself whether your approach was correct, how should you have behaved in this circumstance, how would you have behaved when said specific things and finding difficult to control your emotions over your rational.

When you finally get the opportunity you have always hoped for, you do not want it to slip from your hands.
Your emotions take over your thoughts and you lose control over the situation. Leaving from an environment where your emotions didn't really have to do much with your job and moving into an environment where your emotions keep on interfeering.

A new environment requires a new approach. And this approach has to do with your skills to adopt to new circumstances.

Believing in something means fighting for it. But fighting for it, is not necessarily about getting out on the streets shouting and going against the powerful. Sometimes fighting for the things you believe in means working your ass off to create what you have always wanted, no matter what everyone around you says.

Surround yourself with the people that get it, Reflect on your actions, Act and Learn from your mistakes but most importantly...Work! Work to create, work to inspire!!
