You Are a Gift to Me

• 'Everyone in my family is normal, except me'

         'Why are you saying that? I see nothing not normal about you'

• 'What do you mean his previous relationship was with this person?'

            'Why are you so shocked. These people exist and it is ok.'

• 'Help me open up my mind. Help me think outside the box'

• 'Last time this think happened to me, I declined the offer'

            'Now however, you are older and you have matured. Besides, what I understand is that, you are             not bothered by what you found out. What bothers you is the fact that after all this, you are                 still attracted to him...'

• 'How is this even possible?'

            'What it looks like to me, is that he falls in love with character, not with looks'

• 'Was he just playing me?'

           'Well, he never really told you upfront'

            'I know. Why did he not tell me? What was he afraid of?'

• 'I have to read and educate myself on this topic. Thank you for making me question my ideologies and stereotypes'.

Life is difficult, unfair, ugly and boring. 

Sometimes though, life introduces you to the people that are purely gifts. 

People that will challenge and bring out the best in you. People that will teach you things you would have never thought you would need to know. 

And the most beautiful part is that sometimes, and if you are lucky, you get to keep those people around. 

No one is perfect. We are all ugly in our own ways and non of us is normal. Define what normal is.

Everyone's definition of 'being normal' is different.

Choose to be around people that bring out the best in you. Your good side, your loving heart. It is difficult but try it. It is worth it.

We are all deserving of love. We all deserve to feel loved and normal (in our own ways and within our own insecurities).

After all, what we all need, is a warm, tight and loving hug! <3
